What we collect

The data we hold.

Email addresses

When a reader subscribes to our newsletter or opts in to receive a full diagnostic or calculator result by email, we collect that email address. We use it to deliver the requested content and to send occasional editorial newsletters. Readers can unsubscribe using the unsubscribe link where provided, or by replying with an unsubscribe request.

Calculator and diagnostic inputs

Free calculator inputs are processed in your browser. If you request an emailed result, we store your email, supplied names and birth dates, result, and delivery preferences. Calculator subscribers may receive follow-up messages about the optional paid report. A purchase stores the supplied inputs, calculation snapshot, payment references, report file location, and delivery status for fulfilment and support. These records are not automatically erased after delivery; contact us to request deletion. The long quiz logs per-completion scores, flags, version, a hashed IP identifier, and a limited browser string. Requesting its emailed result also stores the submitted answers and result with your email address. Shared quiz URLs encode answers in the URL fragment; anyone with the full link can replay them. Historical partner aggregates are a separate dataset.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how readers use the site — which articles they read, how they arrive, and where they leave. These services may set cookies in the reader’s browser. We do not use this data for advertising. We do not sell it to third parties.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP addresses, request times, browser strings — for security and operational purposes. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used for editorial profiling.

How we share data

What we share, and with whom.

The free calculator runs locally. Email requests and purchases transmit and retain the personal information described above. Aggregate editorial statistics are separate from those operational records.

We do not sell reader data to third parties. We do not share email addresses with third parties for marketing. The service providers with which reader data is processed are: our email infrastructure provider (Resend); our analytics providers (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity); our hosting provider (Vercel); our database and authentication provider (Supabase); our AI provider for the Synchronicity Journal interpretations (DeepSeek); and our AI provider for the paid Twin Flame Compatibility Report (Anthropic). Payment processing uses Stripe; PDF rendering uses Railway; report storage uses Cloudflare R2. Current report reflection prompts send symbolic themes to Anthropic, without the submitted names or birth dates. The renderer processes report content including names and dates.

Synchronicity Journal

What you log, where it goes.

The Synchronicity Journal is a logged-in tool. When a reader signs up, we create an account using their email address (managed by Supabase Auth). When a reader logs an entry, we store the entry content (sync type, sync value, optional description, optional mood and stage context) tied to that account.

How AI interpretations are generated

Each entry is processed by DeepSeek, a third-party AI provider, to generate the interpretation card. Weekly synthesis uses aggregated pattern data rather than the full entry text. The entry content is sent to DeepSeek for processing under their standard API terms; we do not share entries with any other third party for AI processing. AI-generated interpretations are informational reflections, not professional advice (see our terms of use). Before any interpretation runs, the entry passes through a content-safety classifier; if the classifier flags the entry as describing self-harm, abuse, or acute crisis, the AI interpretation is skipped and the reader sees a panel of regional crisis-line resources instead.

How long we keep journal data

Journal entries are retained while the account is active. When a reader deletes an individual entry, it is hidden immediately and scheduled for permanent deletion after thirty days. Deleting the entire account removes the authentication record and its journal entries through database cascade deletion; weekly summaries are also removed. Account deletion does not provide a thirty-day recovery window. Separate purchase and email records require a separate deletion request. Provider backups and logs may have their own retention schedules.

Export and deletion

Readers can export all their journal data at any time as a JSON file from the account settings page. Readers can request account deletion from the same page.

Cookies

Twin Flame Connect uses cookies for analytics (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) and for basic functional state. We do not use advertising cookies. Readers can disable cookies in their browser settings; doing so may affect site functionality.

Your rights

What you can ask of us.

Depending on the reader’s jurisdiction (the EU, the UK, California, and other regions with applicable privacy laws), readers may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal data we hold about them. Readers may also have the right to data portability and the right to withdraw consent.

Children

Twin Flame Connect is intended for readers eighteen years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we delete it.
