Privacy
Privacy policy.
Effective May 14, 2026
This page describes what Twin Flame Connect collects from readers, how it is used, and the rights readers have over their data. We collect as little as we can, we share as little as we can, and we tell readers what we collect and why.
Who we are
The data controller.
Twin Flame Connect is published by Known by One, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. Our registered address is:

What we collect
The data we hold.
Email addresses
When a reader subscribes to our newsletter or opts in to receive a full diagnostic or calculator result by email, we collect that email address. We use it to deliver the requested content and to send occasional editorial newsletters. Readers can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email.
Calculator and diagnostic inputs
When a reader uses the Twin Flame Calculator, the names and birth dates entered are processed to compute a compatibility outcome. When a reader takes the Twin Flame Diagnostic or False Twin Flame Quiz, their answers are processed to compute a result. Anonymized, aggregated outcome data may be retained for editorial analysis, including the data report cited on this site. Personally identifying information is not retained as part of the editorial dataset.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how readers use the site — which articles they read, how they arrive, and where they leave. These services may set cookies in the reader’s browser. We do not use this data for advertising. We do not sell it to third parties.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP addresses, request times, browser strings — for security and operational purposes. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used for editorial profiling.
How we share data
Our data partner.
The Twin Flame Calculator is powered by a scoring engine operated by tarostarot.com, an independent publication with which we have a data partnership. When a reader uses the calculator on this site, the inputs are processed by the tarostarot.com scoring engine to compute the result. tarostarot.com may retain anonymized, aggregated outcome data for its own editorial use. Personally identifying information is not shared as part of the data partnership.
We do not sell reader data to third parties. We do not share email addresses with third parties for marketing. The only third parties with which reader data is processed are: our email infrastructure provider (Resend); our analytics providers (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity); our hosting provider (Vercel); our database and authentication provider (Supabase); our AI provider for the Synchronicity Journal interpretations (DeepSeek); our AI provider for the paid Twin Flame Compatibility Report (Anthropic); and the tarostarot.com scoring engine described above.
Synchronicity Journal
What you log, where it goes.
The Synchronicity Journal is a logged-in tool. When a reader signs up, we create an account using their email address (managed by Supabase Auth). When a reader logs an entry, we store the entry content (sync type, sync value, optional description, optional mood and stage context) tied to that account.
How AI interpretations are generated
Each entry is processed by DeepSeek, a third-party AI provider, to generate the interpretation card and the weekly synthesis. The entry content is sent to DeepSeek for processing under their standard API terms; we do not share entries with any other third party for AI processing. AI-generated interpretations are informational reflections, not professional advice (see our terms of use). Before any interpretation runs, the entry passes through a content-safety classifier; if the classifier flags the entry as describing self-harm, abuse, or acute crisis, the AI interpretation is skipped and the reader sees a panel of regional crisis-line resources instead.
How long we keep journal data
Journal entries are retained while the account is active. When a reader deletes an entry, it is soft-deleted and retained for thirty days before being permanently purged — this gives readers a window to recover from accidental deletes by contacting us. When a reader deletes their entire account, all entries are soft-deleted immediately, weekly syntheses are removed, and the account is signed out and the auth record removed; the soft-deleted entries are permanently purged after the thirty-day window.
Export and deletion
Readers can export all their journal data at any time as a JSON file from the account settings page. Readers can request account deletion from the same page.
Cookies
What we set in your browser.
Twin Flame Connect uses cookies for analytics (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) and for basic functional state. We do not use advertising cookies. Readers can disable cookies in their browser settings; doing so may affect site functionality.
Your rights
What you can ask of us.
Depending on the reader’s jurisdiction (the EU, the UK, California, and other regions with applicable privacy laws), readers may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal data we hold about them. Readers may also have the right to data portability and the right to withdraw consent.
To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@twinflameconnect.com. We respond to verified requests within thirty days.
Children
Twin Flame Connect is intended for readers eighteen years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we delete it.
Changes
We update this policy when our practices change. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged in our newsletter.
